Grimsby Open

Not a golf tournament.

Not even a contest.

Once you've tired of the turkey, mince pies and stale TV during the Christmas week you are welcome to move some toy soldiers around the scenic tabletops of the Grimsby Wargames Society.

We are planning a "megalead" game on Friday 28th December, kickoff around 10am, based on the War of the Spanish succession. So far I think we can field some 60 battalions and 150 sqauadrons of horse so that'll be over 3,000 toys on the table. Rules used are our own and even though they only take 8 pages they're quick, fun and easy to learn.

Looking forward to further reports . . . and, of course, lots of pictures (both long shots and close-ups).

Look forward to it Paul. You know WSS loads better than me. Will be armed to the teeth myself with my camera(s), oh, and my dice. I shoot better with my camera.

Thinking of making a wiki for a project designed mainly for the club but want the public to collaborate too. What do you think? I know how to make one.

Sigh,

Back to wishing I had my own private jet to 'sneak' away.

I'll second the request for AAR and lots of pics!
