I have to admit that I did not enjoy painting these six as much as the French in a previous post. The faces didn't come out as nicely despite using the same technique. So I put these on hold and did something I enjoy.
Which turned out to be the first squadron of Russian Horse Grenadiers for the Great Northern War.
Figures from Musketeer as ever. Lovely big chunky chaps with easy to see detail and clean lines. I find that the paint flows so nicely on these figures and they reward a bit of care so much that they are a real joy to paint.
