|Swedish battery with new gun on the left|
The paint brushes have been busy as well.
In the first case there have been more figures for the Great Northern War project. As ever they are from Musketeer Miniatures (available through Gripping Beast). The first was a second light gun for the Swedes. Funny how you can never quite remember what colours and tones you used previously (perhaps I should start a painting colour diary). The facing colour for the second gun is lighter and the barrel of the gun darker. Am I bothered? well enough to mention it here but not to go back and redo them.
I like these figures a lot. Bill manages to get some nice facial features and his figures are a joy to paint. My only criticism would be the posing. I'm not sure what they are supposed to be doing but if I mounted them the other way around they would look like they were holding hands - a pose more marital than martial!
